I've spent decades as a nurse, and nearly as long building nonprofit organizations.

Nursing teaches you to see structure where other people see chaos. You learn to triage, to build systems that hold up under pressure, and to notice the small thing that becomes the big problem if nobody catches it early.

I first put that instinct to work as the founder of a group home, running a nonprofit organization from the ground up while still practicing as a nurse.

That dual experience is where my philosophy comes from — directly, not from theory. Mission without structure is dangerous. I've watched too many good organizations, run by people with real vision, struggle because the systems underneath that vision were never built to hold its weight. That's the gap I fill.

I'm an introvert, and I built my business around that instead of apologizing for it. I do my best thinking in the quiet — one-on-one or in small focused rooms, not from a stage. I'm currently writing a book on this, "Leading Like An Introvert," because I think a lot of leaders have been sold a version of leadership that doesn't fit them, and it's costing them.

You'll find I'm direct. I'll tell you what your organization actually needs, not what's easiest to hear. Attention to detail and follow-through aren't extras for me — they're the whole job.
